Nymphs

Nymphing is a really basic technique that catches fish. Generally under a strike indicator you will have a weighted nymph. Tied to the bend of the hook you tie on an unweighted nymph. The whole idea is to get them to drift naturally past a feeding trout. I am more of a kind of guy who will put a nymph below a dry fly if I have to. If am am nymphing I like the challenge of fishing shallow rapids at the head of a run. Nymphing works really well in still water too but I find it terribly boring.

If you are unsure what you want, try our Winter Nymphing Pack or our Basic Nymphing Pack. Nymphs are less expensive in pre made packs.
